A More Personal Way to Explore STEAM

Learners begin by discovering a selection of fragrance materials and noticing how each one smells, feels, and changes their impression of a blend. I introduce simple ideas about ingredients, balance, and sensory observation in language that feels accessible and engaging. Each participant then makes thoughtful choices as they develop a scent concept of their own.

The workshop combines guided learning with practical experimentation, giving learners time to test ideas and refine their blend. Along the way, they practise describing observations, making decisions, and connecting creative choices with basic scientific thinking. The experience is collaborative and encouraging, with every learner leaving having taken part in a process they can understand and remember.
